PMU MODEL CALL POLICY
PMU model call services are offered at a discounted rate in exchange for participation in content creation, education, and training purposes. By booking a model call appointment, the client agrees to all terms outlined below.
Purpose of Model Call
Model call appointments are discounted because they are used for:
Filming the full procedure process
Before & after photography
Full-face photos and videos
Use of content for social media, website, portfolio, advertising, and educational materials
By booking, the client grants full, unrestricted consent for the use of images and videos without limitation.
Eligibility & Client Responsibilities
Client must be 18 years or older.
Client must have healthy skin suitable for PMU.
Prior PMU, tattoos, or residual pigment must be disclosed and approved.
Client agrees to artist-selected shapes, styles, and techniques.
Client must be comfortable being filmed and photographed throughout the appointment.
Client agrees to arrive on time and prepared for filming.
The artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if requirements are not met.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Model call appointments are non-transferable.
One reschedule may be allowed with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Late arrivals may result in cancellation without refund due to filming and scheduling requirements.
Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of your appointment will result in:
A 50% charge of the remaining balance (e.g., if your final balance is $100 after deposit, you will be charged $50),
Forfeiture of your deposit,
A new deposit will be required to rebook .
If you reschedule within 24 hours, the 50% fee will still apply, but your original deposit may be credited toward the new appointment.
No-shows are treated as late cancellations and will incur the same charges.
Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may require full prepayment for future bookings.
Clients who fail to disclose any medical conditions, current medications, use of specific skincare (such as, Retinol) or recent caffeine intake prior to their appointment — and as a result must reschedule or cancel at the time of the appointment — will be charged 50% of the service total as an inconvenience fee. To avoid this situation from occurring, please let us know of anything you’re unsure of.
Pricing & Payment
Model call pricing is significantly discounted from standard service rates.
The discount reflects the exchange of services for filming, photography, and educational use.
No additional discounts or promotions apply.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the appointment with the remaining balance due on the day of the appointment.
Touch-Up & Results Disclaimer
Touch-ups are highly recommended for optimal results, color retention, and refinement.
Touch-ups are NOT included in the model call price.
Model call clients are eligible for discounted touch-up pricing.
Final healed results cannot be accurately assessed without a touch-up session.
Results vary based on skin type, lifestyle, healing response, and aftercare compliance.
Model call procedures are performed for content creation, training, and educational purposes; therefore, results may differ from standard full-priced services.
Perfection is not guaranteed, and additional sessions may be required to achieve desired results.
Medical Disclosure & Health Acknowledgment
Client confirms full disclosure of all medical conditions, medications, allergies, skin conditions, and contraindications.
Failure to disclose relevant information releases the artist from liability for adverse reactions or unsatisfactory results.
PMU involves skin penetration and carries inherent risks including redness, swelling, irritation, infection, scarring, or pigment irregularities.
Allergic reactions or sensitivities are possible despite professional products and sterile procedures.
Patch testing is optional and must be requested in advance.
Healing, Retention & Color Disclaimer
Healing outcomes and pigment retention vary due to skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare products, hormones, medications, smoking, sweating, and aftercare compliance.
Pigments may fade or shift in color over time due to skin chemistry and natural aging.
Color longevity is not guaranteed.
Future maintenance sessions may be required at the client’s expense.
Aftercare Responsibility
Client is solely responsible for following aftercare instructions exactly as provided.
Improper aftercare may negatively impact healing and results.
Additional sessions required due to aftercare non-compliance will be charged.
Photography & Media Release
Client understands images and videos may capture redness, swelling, asymmetry, or healing stages.
Client waives rights to review, approve, edit, or request removal of any posted content.
Content may remain permanently online and used indefinitely.
Third-Party Opinions Disclaimer
Opinions from friends, family, other artists, or online sources do not constitute professional evaluation.
The artist is not responsible for concerns arising from third-party opinions.
Behavior & Cooperation
Excessive movement, lack of cooperation, or disruptive behavior may affect results.
The artist is not liable for outcomes affected by client behavior during the procedure.
No Refund Policy
All model call appointments are final sale.
No refunds, exchanges, or chargebacks under any circumstances.
Dissatisfaction based on personal preference does not qualify for a refund.
Artist Rights & Limitation of Liability
The artist maintains full creative and technical control.
The artist may modify or discontinue the procedure for safety or educational purposes.
The client agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the artist and studio from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the procedure, except in cases of gross negligence.
The artist is not liable for interruptions or cancellations due to events beyond their control.

By booking a PMU model call appointment, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this policy.
